Should old broken stained glass panels be thrown away?

Below is a stained glass panel which I was consigned to bring back to life.

After cleaning and removing all the damaged pieces a new look of life is coming back, the colors are dancing with brightness. The design is coming forth and your eye is drawn to the center of the panel given you quite enjoyment.

The final judgment is at hand. The panel has been put back together a new frame has been placed around the panel. New pieces of metal, lead and solder have be blended into the older panel for a complete unbroken look. Do you see the new sparkle in the glass design, the rich color and the enjoyment of the design in the panel?
